The Gathering Block (Maple) pairs chef-grade performance with furniture-level charm: a 4-inch end-grain Northern Hard Rock Maple top, finished in Boos Block Cream (mineral oil + beeswax), set above a tailored base and its signature wicker basket drawer(s). Handcrafted in the USA, it’s compact, commanding, and made for daily use.
A Maple Worktop for Daily Rituals
This is true end-grain construction—the butcher’s choice. Maple fibers stand upright to welcome your knife, then gently relax, softening shallow marks over time. The checkerboard pattern is practical and beautiful, aging into a warm satin patina.
